keep breathing.

well, it's a new year and with a new year comes resolutions. i usually don't bother making any because i never stick with them, but this time i think i might try. mostly because there are actually things i want to make changes about. so, here they are:

1. stop being irritated so easily. sometimes i am so stressed out with school and whatnot that i let every little thing bother me, which i really want to improve on. i want to just be more carefree and not spend so much time being angry about things.
2. spend absolutely every spare moment i have with the people i love. england is coming fast and although that means my dream is in reach, it also means that my loved ones will soon not be. so, if i have a free day, i want to try to fill it by spending time with my friends and family, because soon i will not be able to.
3. take more pictures. my camera is my most cherished possession, but i often neglect it if i'm not feeling inspired or don't think there's anything to take pictures of. but when i actually pick my camera up, i see things completely different. so in order to be the photographer i want to be, i need to start spending more time with it.
4. go to the gym more often. and if not for me, at least to admire the delicious guy who works there. gotta find motivation somehow, right?

can't wait to see what 2011 brings.

John Hughes did not direct my life.

Whatever happened to chivalry? Does it only exist in 80's movies? I want John Cusack holding a boombox outside my window. I wanna ride off on a lawnmower with Patrick Dempsey. I want Jake from Sixteen Candles waiting outside the church for me. I want Judd Nelson thrusting his fist into the air because he knows he got me. Just once I want my life to be like an 80's movie, preferably one with a really awesome musical number for no apparent reason. But no, no, John Hughes did not direct my life.

- Emma Stone (whom I'm completely in love with) as Olive in Easy A.

to whom it may concern.

hello,
it's me again
a whole lot's changed
since i left and
i don't know i guess
i felt like checking in

surprise,
you let it ring
well it's your turn to
leave me hanging
i don't care
i know you love it
when you see me call

i wonder who you're loving now
i'm guessing we won't work things out

you know what they say
you can't have it so you want it back
i'm way past that
believe me
if you could be in my life
like you've been on my mind
it'd be so easy

hello
it's me again
it's three days now
that you've been in my dreams
and i don't know, i guess
you've just been on my mind
i don't know, i guess
i think about you all the time

i wonder if she's much like me
i wonder if she's what you need.

Desire is the key, Love is the melody.

Follow these instructions
Do exactly as I do
Lean your shoulders forward
Let your hands slide over to my side
Move your body closer
Let your heart meet mine
Love is the harmony
Desire is the key
Love is the melody
Now sing it with me
Come a little closer
Take a look at me
This light is so obvious
I want you to see
Come a little closer
Look me in the eye
Then repeat with me one more time
Love is the harmony
Desire is the key
Love is a symphony
Now play it with me
You'll be the rythm and I'll be the beat
Then I'll be the rythm and you'll be the beat
And love, the shoreline, where you and I meet
Love is the harmony
Desire is the key
Love is a symphony
Come sing some with me
